President’s Message

Greetings! On behalf of the officers and members of the award-winning Greater Denton County (TX) Chapter, The Links, Incorporated, I would like to welcome you to our website! Chartered on June 9, 2012, the Greater Denton County (TX) Chapter proudly celebrates ten (10) years of leadership, friendship, commitment, and service to the people and communities of North Texas and beyond.
A locally and nationally recognized chapter of The Links, Incorporated (www.linksinc.org), the Greater Denton County (TX) Chapter proudly promotes the mission and goals of our founders through advocacy, engagement, and promotion of projects and programming for women, children, and families that focus on our five facets:
  • The Arts
  • Health & Human Services
  • International Trends & Services
  • National Trends & Services
  • Services to Youth
With members serving in the highest echelons of business, government, education, and other industries, our members amass thousands of community service each year, using their specialized skills and talents to educate, train, and support members of our community. Through our Growing and Empowering Minds for Success (GEMS) program and our NSBE Jr. Chapter, our 47 members actively promote the importance of education and STEAM learning as a foundation for the growth and development of children and teens. As we re-enter society and return to work following a global pandemic, the members of the Greater Denton County (TX) Chapter are focused on “The Year of Re-“ as we re-engage, re-juvenate, and re-dedicate our commitment to our beloved organization, The Links, Incorporated, and to those we serve. We welcome you to peruse our website, explore our activities, and discover why the Greater Denton County (TX) Chapter, The Links, Incorporated, is a premier service organization in North Texas and will forever be Linked in Friendship, Connected in Service.
