The Greater Denton County (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will host its annual fundraiser, “An Emerald Affair” on Sunday, November 10th to help our members deliver impactful programs for youth involved in the Growing and Empowering Minds for Success (GEMS) Leadership program, along with scholarships and initiatives that enhance the quality of life in our community. Your support provides crucial resources that empower underserved youth to reach their full potential through academic success, STEM readiness, positive life choices, commitment to healthy living, and community service. Working together, we can make a significant impact.

An Emerald Affair Event Sponsorship
Proceeds from the 2024 fundraiser will support chapter fund programming initiatives including:
- Youth Leadership Development: STEAM education, career exploration, technical excellence, cultural awareness, and community service through our National Society of Black Engineers Jr group.
- College Scholarships:Awarded to high performing students pursuing further education.
- Humanitarian Support: Aiding underprivileged youth and young women in Jamaica and Uganda.
- Social Action and Voter Registration:Through our Link Up to Vote outreach.
- Feeding the Mind, Body, and Soul:Addressing food insecurities for children and families.
